About

Lea W Dizon was born and raised in a little city in the Philippines called Angeles. After earning her degree in Broadcast Communication at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, she worked for Good Housekeeping Philippines for almost four years. She was also a regular contributor for other popular publications both as a writer and stylist. She then moved to work as a senior writer, and segment producer for TV, first with ABC and then ABS-CBN. Then she moved to work in the creative department of Star Cinema. In 2007 she packed her bags and left for Los Angeles, where she is currently pursuing a masters degree in Film and TV Production at the University of Southern California.

She dreams of becoming a big Hollywood director someday, in the meantime she is busy directing and producing a number of student films that have gone to local and international film festivals–all while working as a teaching assistant. She was awarded an AVID scholarship in 2007, a SONY scholarship in 2011, and has been selected to direct two USC-funded films. She is awesome at multi-tasking, loves theme parks, and can make a mean leche flan.
